As we drove on through eastern Poland we saw more old people on bicycles and street sellers with watermelons.
We visited a historic town Kazimirez Dolny and had Pizza the barman used to live in Swords. The Irish Polish connections are strong!
Our last night in Poland was with a great couple Ewa and Tomas in a lovely farmstead near Lublin. Thomas is a musician and makes the coolest instruments from gaz bottles. They both work with refugees mainly youth from Chechnya. They do all sorts of vocational education with their association including natural building, and veggie growing workshops and Tomas helps them make music together!
Leaving Poland we saw storks nests all along the road and some birds by the road side eating and others flying- very cool.
